Cannot Associate .docx With Word 2007

For the last month or so, everytime I try toopen a .doc file it gives me some bullcrap about how I don't have a program that will run the .doc file. Was the value 1 to be hex or dec ? In the window that opens, click on Set Your Default Programs to open the programs default options window. I've tried to think of a way around that, and you just have to do it because of the script error you're talking about. weblink

my biggest concern is word since the other programs appear to set themselves as the default program for opening files with a double click. as im sure everyone else who downloaded this program is. It was causing too many problems. her latest blog I chose to download Office Home and Business 2010.

Once Office2007 has been installed, it will place Icons for Word, Excel and Powerpoint on the desktop.
